Hi 45th!
This is my 2nd post in this whole blog. As you people can see, my post today will be about BB blaze.
1st, i will want to share my experience during 2009 Adventure Quest. I still rmb training only very little with my team mates. But every training, we really train with all our hearts out. Well, at least for those who care. During 1 of our training, we cycle for more than 25 km and completed in 3.5 hours. During this training our team mates injured his thigh muscle at our 6-7km and wasn't able to really cycle. But we encourage him, HE also didnt even give up. We continued and look out for each other. Its was though, but we persevere thru this training. When we were on our way back, around lefting with 5 km, our team mates fell and couldn't continue due to the over straining of the thigh muscle. I was the 1st 1 to reach the ending point. after 15 min, the rest of the teams were back but not this mate. So i called him and cycle back track to look for him. He is sitting under a tree and was in pain. He couldn't move at all. So i have to cycle my bike as well as his all the way back, and that adds up to 10km for me.
Actual AQ. We all stay over at 1 of the officers apartment that is located VERY VERY near the reporting time. I still rmb when we report to the HQ, some of us didnt bring along our I/C so we ran back to the house and take it. It was quite close shave as we almost cross the reporting time. We when we get in, we gotta do some warm up and things like that. After all the talking from the HQ members and General YEN, we got our maps and everything for the AQ. We starting planning with a very blur mind as we woke up at 5 or 6 am. So after all the planning, we gotta cheer and whatever, we walked to the staring point which is at the Singapore river. We were all very enthu and very excited about it. So we line up, and as we hear the start ring, we ran for awhile than we started walking and banging other Coy's. I shall not elaborate on the checkpoints. The ending point is at 1 school located near bedok reserviour. We ran in and jump onto the AQ 2009 MAP. I had a very high sense of accomplishment of 45km across southern and eastern of Singapore. We rest at the canteen, and we thought that we might not get the place we want. But after the results, we got a sliver honour roll. We are quite happy, but at the same time also quite sad because our goal is to get GOLD. But it's okay, at least we got something back for this wonderful Comapany.
This year is BB Blaze, although i don really know whats going on, but i want all of you to encourage each other to cope with their time management, their strengh to carry on and everything! You are a team, You are representing 45th. BE PROUD OF IT AND GO FOR A GOLD! I have faith if every team, every Platoon, every Boy! Look out for each other and persevere thru this competition!
