I am writing this from my bed (coz i am sick), but nevertheless, i try to make full use most of my post.
2010 is going to be an exciting year. Xinmin is celebrating it's 65th and BB is celebrating it's 80th. It's going to be an busy year ahead, isn't it? I believe by now, most of your would have heard that the RTC/LDC has actually crashed with SHINE!. Now, it's something problematic, isn't it?
I understand that some of your have been called to perform, participate or help out in some way or another. Some of your may want to buy tickets to support your peers. Some of you, graduating students, may want to 'connect'' with the school one last time.
Please be assured that i am kept-informed of all these (with the help of 2 capable teachers as well as the school administration team). We will try to tweak the camp dates so that your can have the opportunity to catch one of the two shows. To those who are being asked to be involved, please go ahead, and contribute your talent to make SHINE! a success.
Now, if i were to challenge you by making SHINE! a BB outing (ie we all go for the matinée) that is led by Boys, seniors, will you be glad to spearhead this effort? Juniors, will your make it a point to attend together with your BB friends? Will you ask those who have left xinmin for one point or another to go to you as well?
Will your make platoon 1 welcome this way (by asking them to watch SHINE! with you)?
We want to develop you to be contributors to the society and the school as well. Hopefully, when you have graduated, you will decide to come back and help out in one way or another.
Now back to company camp and parades.
RTC/LDC dates will be revised. Please note that we will release information on 5th Feb.
30th Jan (sat) parade will be as follow:
Your CSM will post on the blog/notice board/both about your reporting time. Please report in your PT attire (BB Polo and XMS shorts).
Do note that we will be conducting inline skating for you (don't worry if you don't know how to skate). It's an introductory lesson (ie teaching you to wear your gears and basic skating rules) so just come with an open heart to play and have fun.
We will be collecting $4 from you (for the rental of skates). Please note that we catered for the whole company so even if those who were absent, you will have to pay.
The parade will end latest by 12.30pm.
Let's continue to make 45th a happening place, a place you want to be in!
Mr Bay
